He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles McAtee and Emily McAtee (Michaud). He is survived by : his wife Janice McAtee (McGlinn) of Woodland; his children, Sue McAtee Acosta (Doug Dubord) of South China and Ronald C. McAtee Jr. (Shelley) of Presque Isle; his grandchildren, Josh (Marlene) of Fort Fairfield, Skyler (Jayson) of Presque Isle and Xavier (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Brick, Catherine, Caroline, Nevaeh and Asa; and his sisters, Alice and Rita. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nephews, and great nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to the Anah Shrine Klowns, P.O. Box 1601, Presque Isle, Maine, 04769, a cause that was near to Ronald's heart.
