He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Rand and Ellen Rand (Butler); and his sister Carolyn Ouellette. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Rand (Cochran); his daughter Colleen Dougherty (Mike); his stepchildren, Jimmy Trotter, Jessie Trotter Sinclair, Tyler Doody and Darrell Doody; his siblings, Alex Rand Jr., Danny Rand, Nick Rand (Sandy), William Rand (Brenda), Jean McDivitt (Ron), Joan Giles (Mark) and Carla Haines (Wayne); and his brother-in-law Fernand Ouellette. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
