He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gendreau of Casco; his siblings, Burpey Pond (Nancy) of Naples, ME, Richard Pond of Naples, ME and Constance Deering (Roland) of Gorham, ME; his children, Diane Hamel (Ernie) of Greene, ME, Susan Skowronski of Lyman, ME and Philip Gendreau Jr. (Tammy) of Beavercreek, OH; his grandsons, Kurt Hamel (Kayla) of Hartford, ME, Kyle Hamel (Jennifer) of Hartford, ME, Tyler Skowronski, Lucas Skowronski and Chandler Gendreau; and his great grandchildren, Karma Hamel, Natalie Hamel and Keaton Hamel. He is also survived by family into his parents.
His contributions to friends, family, and the community were immense, including helping to bring the Casco Days Ferris Wheel and Carousel from Bridgton.
