He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester H. Scamman and Rosemary Scamman (Donahue); and his siblings, William Scamman and Charlene Scamman. He is survived by: his siblings, Paul, John York, George, Joseph, Joanne Farris and Margaret; his wife Elaine Arsenault; his children, Robert Scamman, II (Julie), Jessica Bussey (Adam), Eric Lowell (Rhonda) and Angela Davis (Christian); and his grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Brandon (Daniel Scamman), Kaylee, Candice (Jackson Bussey), Cassidy Dow (Parker) and Shane Lowell (Ava Davis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JDRF Foundation for Juvenile diabetes.
