He is survived by: his wife Patricia Reynolds Leighton; his sons, Troy Leighton (Kelly), Trevin Leighton (Courtney) and Jeff Robichaud; his grandchildren, Skyler, Troy Jr., Austin, Bre, Jenna, Cade, Hunter, Molly, Zack, Luke, Ava, Gabe and Kaysen; his great grandchildren, Channing, Ryker, Kennedy, Wesley, Parker and Lainee; his siblings, Sharon Meredith, Janel Leighton and Vance Leighton; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Tilton, Donna Wheeler, Judy Brooks (Dave), Jean Tilton, Penny Wilkins and Terry Kamienski (Wayne). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
