He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Mashia and Jason Mashia; his girlfriend Kathleen Hiffa McCallum; his siblings, Emily "Twiggy" Mashia, Charlene Noel (Carey), Barry Mashia Sr., Bradford Smith, Blenny Madison (Deborah), Calvin Madison, Alvin Madison and Brandon Lawrence (Keisha); and his uncle Louis Riley Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
