He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Young and Eleanor Young. He is survived by: his sister Lori Cavanaugh; his nieces, Megan Weber (Cavanaugh) and Molly Cavanaugh; Mark Weber and Kap Rosenberg. He is also survived by many loving cousins and dear friends.

“Sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I have been away since late July. I just heard the news. Looks like I missed the service? I am a neighbor. Ricky has always stoped by on his loop he walked several times a day sometimes. He and I would talk Sports for hours. He of course loved to talk Syracuse sports. Always brought up his Nieces. One niece lives in Vermont near my family. If I can do anything to help, please let me know. Dickie Tabor Bush Row Road”
