He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glidden and Phyllis M. Glidden (Knowles) of Ripley, ME; and his sister Jeanette Clukey (Glidden). He is survived by: his wife Joanne Glidden (Hersey) of Dexter, ME; his children, Diane Glidden (Bernard Stickney) of Mars Hill, ME, Bill Glidden of Fredericksburg, VA, Jeremy Glidden (Nadine) of Augusta, ME and Christopher Glidden (Allison) of Olympia, WA; his sister June Clukey (James) of Ripley, ME; and his great grandchildren, Marshall, Sawyer and Kara. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (39 Bryant Rd, Dexter, ME 04930).
