He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Chambers and Bernice Chambers (Wintle); his brothers, Jimmy, Tommy and Billy Chambers; his brother-in-law Dicky; and his great grandchild Oscar.
He is survived by: his wife Madeline Chambers of Dexter; his sons, Van Chambers (Jody) of Dover-Foxcroft, Steve Chambers (Carolyn) of Corinth, Tim Chambers (Melissa) of Dexter and Jason Chambers (Angie) of Dexter; and his siblings, David Chambers (Sheila) of Dover-Foxcroft and Kathy Chambers of Gorham. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
