She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert M. Fortier and Constance P. Fortier (Morse). She is survived by : her husband John Lawson Jr.; her children, Stephen Lawson (Heidi), Laurie Inserra (Bill) and Cynthia Lawson; her grandchildren, Wendy Lorigan (Lee), Kara Lawson (Jamie Kane), Billy Inserra, Mandy Inserra and Danny Inserra; her great grandchildren, Lee "LJ" Lorigan Jr. and Jack Lorigan; her sister Sandra Padham; and her children, Chris Padham and Jamie Reier (Chip). She is also survived by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
