Lois Mary (Salley) Farr Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Lois Mary (Salley) Farr of Dover Foxcroft, Maine. Lois, born on June 18, 1934, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Salley and Ila Salley (Merrill); her husband William Farr; her siblings, Phyllis Brackett (Vernon), Amasa Salley, Margaret Sheldon (Forrest), Laura Tyler (Ed), Jim Salley (Mary), Harriet Moen (Charles) and John Salley (Elaine); her great grandchild Michael Roberts; and her son-in-law Craig Troyer.
She is survived by: her children, Vivian Farr and Kevin Farr (Charlotte); her grandchildren, Nichole Kennedy (Edmond), Randi McKenney (Philip) and Noah Kennedy; and her great grandchildren, Kohl, Landon, Saylor, McCoy, Jameson, Jaxon and Amelia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the 1232 Rural Grove Cemetery (W Main St, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426). A reception will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church (156 E Main St, Dover-Foxcroft, ME 04426).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lois's memory to the Methodist Church, which she faithfully loved and supported for so many years, or to her beloved alma mater, Foxcroft Academy.
