He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Collinsworth; his parents-in-law, Perley and Shirley Wheaton; and his nephew Tyler Wheaton. He is survived by: his mother Priscilla Collinsworth; his wife Cheryl Collinsworth (Wheaton); his children, Amy Collinsworth (Nicholas Chase) and Aaron Collinsworth; his aunts, Esther Morris, Betty Morin and Beverly Morin; his siblings, Darlene Rosebush (Dennis), Roger Collinsworth (Sherri), Mark Collinsworth (Eleanor), Beth Rider (Alan) and David Collinsworth; his niece Heather; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson and Rogan; his nieces and nephews, Holly (Derrick), Christopher (Jay), Katrina (Luc), Megan (Branden), Madison and Adam (Angela); his brother-in-law Michael Wheaton (Sharon); and his niece Michaela.
