It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita M. Nisbett of East Millinocket, Maine, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rita may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank R. Jarvis and Agnes A. Jarvis (Roche); and her siblings, Bernice Jarvis and Gordon Jarvis. She is survived by: her husband Donald Nisbett of East Millinocket; her son Gerald (Kim) of Berwick; and her grandson Mark (Hallie) of Glenburn, Maine..
