He was predeceased by: his parents, James Colson and Alice Colson (Denyer). He is survived by: his wife Edith Colson; and his children, Kenneth "Skip" Colson (Marty) of Alexander, ME, Kathryn Colson Day (Allan), Ellen Sanchez and Dianne Drane. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
