We announce the death of David A. Lainsbury of Eddington, Maine, who passed away on July 28, 2026, at the age of 65. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Debra Anne (Doane); and his parents, Ivory and Carolyn. He is survived by: his nephew Michael Doane; his brother Edward "Ted"; his sister-in-law Anne of Mobile, Alabama; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Alexandra of Worms, Germany; his uncle Ralph Holyoke; and his aunt Margaret "Peggy" of Clifton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Veazie Veterinary Clinic, 1522 State Street, Veazie, Maine, if desired.
