Andrea T. Ames Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrea T. Ames of Ellsworth, Maine, who passed away on December 7, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Andrea shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Andrea farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her parents, Jerome K. Hewett and Audrey E. Hewett (Andrews); her husband Tim Ames; her brothers, Mark K. Hewett of West Virginia and Eric J. Hewett (Patricia) of Sidney; and her close friends, Cheryl Beach and Wendy Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Andy and her husband moved back to Maine in 2020, at the height of the covid pandemic.
