It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith R. Stanwood (Ellsworth, Maine), who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Raleigh E. Stanwood and Madeline Stanwood (Norwood); her son Robert L. Higgins; and her sister Kathlyn O'Brien. She is survived by : her brother Robert E. Stanwood; her children, Jai M. Higgins (Lynn) and Tasha Higgins (Paul Rozeffe); and her grandchildren, Grace, Tristan, Quincy, Kylie, Valentina, Valedah, Pete and Pepe.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's memory to West Side Food Pantry, MDI Hospital Auxiliary, or Southwest Harbor library.
