He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Huntley and Lillian Huntley (Lenfestey); his wife Sonya (Joy); his stepson Raymond Young (Erin); his granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth Young and Anna Katherine Young; his stepdaughter Karmen Joy Young; his brother-in-law Merle Joy; and his sibling's children, Gordon and Cathy Faulkingham.
