She is survived by : her mother Ruth Thurston (Smart) of Machias; her siblings, Tom Thurston (Fuzzy), Betsy Thurston of Machias, Cathy (Jim Kotredes), Ellen (Jim Pletz) and Sally Thurston of Maynard, Massachusetts.; and her cousin Roger Thurston of Lexington, Kentucky..
