As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his father John H. Fitzsimmons, Jr.; and his brother Eugene D. Fitzsimmons, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn L. Knights (Rice) of Surry; his children, Danielle, Michael, Jr., Samantha, Dalton, Caitlin and Katrina; and his sisters, Brenda Fitzsimmons (Donny) of Otis and Diana Frederick (Jody) of Myrtle Beach. He is also survived by aunt and uncle, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
