He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boyle Rodes and Harriet Rodes; his wife Barbara; his siblings, Boyle, Harriet, Margaret Rodes White of Sperryville, VA. and Margy; his son Peter; his daughter-in-law Alison of Wilmette, IL; his son Thomas; his daughter-in-law Sachiko of Cambridge, MA; his daughter Lindsay; his son-in-law Christopher Marks of London, England; and his grandchildren, Maxwell, Graham Moore Rodes, Marshall, Emi Rodes, Philippa and Charles Thomas "Chatto" Rodes Marks.
He particularly enjoyed making friends within the Parker Ridge community after Covid's enforced isolation.
