With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Hill of Fairfield, Maine, who passed away on May 2, 2025 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Hill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Champine and Beatrice Champine (Murray); her daughter Karen Nightingale; and her siblings, Elaine Poulin, Lucille Champine and Lawrence Champine.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce Goldrup of China; her son Blair Hill (Kelly) of Waterville; her grandchildren, Sarah Vitello (Jon) of Jaffrey, NH, Michael Pomerleau (Samantha) of Northport, Krystal, Neal Mecum of North Yarmouth, Dustin and Sarah Lacombe of Brunswick; and her great grandchildren, Rainey, Janelle, Ethan, Julia, Emryn, Riley, Ellie, Parker, Grayson and Azalea. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Travis Mills Foundation (travismillsfoundation.org) in Maxine's honor.
