He was predeceased by: his parents, Wofford Gardner and Virginia Gardner; and his sister Kathy Field (Mary Ann Gardner). He is survived by: his daughters, Sara Gardner Miller (David Miller) and Susan Elizabeth Gardner; his grandson Isaac Gardner Miller; his significant other Barbara Vrabel; and his sister Beverly Abbott. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
