He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Vern and Isabelle Beardsley Sawyer (Maud). He is survived by : his children, Alan (Julie) of Scarborough, ME and Judith Sawyer; his son-in-law Greg Hanner of West Virginia; his grandsons, Gregory Sawyer, MD (Annah) of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Jamison Sawyer (Sierra) of Westbrook, ME, Bryan Church and Daniel Church of New Mexico; and his great grandchildren, Lylah Sawyer, Jude Sawyer and Levi Sawyer.
