She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Vernon Wooley and Thelma Wooley; her brothers, Donald Robert Wooley and David Vernon Wooley; her husband Philip Lawrence Smiley of New Sharon; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Jane Smiley.

She is survived by : her stepson Philip Thomas Smiley (Janelle); her sisters, Geraldine Thelma Farmer and Lucille Edith Smith; her stepsiblings, Kenneth Wooley, Marcia Wooley and Neil Wooley; her daughter-in-law Deborah Ladd; and her stepgrandchildren, Noel, William, Mitchell, Abigail, Briann and Amanda. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren.
