He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Arthur Schuler and Frances Irene Schuler (Turben); and his sister Lynne McKinney (Alicia Heineken). He is survived by: his wife Karen Hawkins; his daughter Sarah; his son-in-law Danny Yerxa of Pocahontas; his daughter Sherrill; his son-in-law Tom Abbott of Greeneville; his son Scott (Evelyn) of Las Vegas, Nevada.; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan Schuler, Sherise McQuay and Laci Wiggin; his great grandchildren, Liberdy, Skyla Hinkle, Tanner and Toby Wiggin; his grandchildren, Jarod Lawton (Marcella), Aren, Caleb and Abigail Lawton; and his great grandchildren, Andre, Ray and Tucker Lawton.
