He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Glendon Whitney and Marion Whitney (Ladd); his wife Regina Whitney (Robbins); his brother Kenneth Whitney; and his sister-in-law Gloria Whitney.
He is survived by: his son Michael Wilbur; his brothers, Harold Whitney and Alan Whitney; and his sister-in-law Janice Whitney.
