He was predeceased by : his parents, Clyde R. Tripp and Irene P. Tripp (Burbank); and his siblings, Robert, Louise, Joanne, Gloria, Nancy and Randy.

He is survived by : his children, Tammie Tripp (Duff Books), Keith "Bub" Tripp II (Sue Cochran) and Kathy Tripp; his close friend Dan Nebor; his siblings, Dot, Harris Jr., Phylis, Erlon, Pat and June; his grandchildren, Cordel Howard, Jasmine Tripp (Dawson), Alexandria Tripp and Damien Cochran (Breanna); and his great grandchildren, Ellie and Ember.
