We announce the death of Robert H. B. Cox (Farmington, Maine), who passed away on September 28, 2026, at the age of 95. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Robert will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Robert will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Robert’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert H. Cox and Gladys M. Cox (Bishop); and his brother Herbert Cox Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mabel Cox; and his children, Larry Cox (Michelle) and Darlene Pacheco (Ted) of Maine. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Lodge Presentation Honoring Robert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local food pantry and the local heating assistance program.
