He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Jeannine; his wife Carrie J. Smith-Gagne; and his brother Mark Gagne. He is survived by: his son Alan R. Hitchcock of Limestone; his sister Joanne; his brother-in-law Walter O'Neal of Mt. Vernon; his brother Bert; his sister-in-law Debbie Gagne of Pompano Beach, FL; his grandson Shepard A. Hitchcock of Caribou; and his mother-in-law Norma Smith of Presque Isle. He is also survived by one niece; one nephew; two great nieces and two great nephews.
