It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joel Plourde of Fort Kent, Maine, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joel Plourde to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Alphonse Plourde and Theresa Plourde (Charette); his wife Claudette; and his siblings, Annette Bard, Norman Plourde, Claude Plourde, Reginald Plourde, Valere Plourde, Gerard Plourde, Venette King and Burnette Bowker.

He is survived by : his daughters, Lola Plourde (Kevin) of Fort Kent and Colleen Harvey (Mark) of Yorktown, VA; his grandchildren, Deirdre Ames (Chuck), Shantelle Houghton, Samantha and Ben Harvey (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Camryn, Dylan Ames and Serenity Houghton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and the Nadeau in-law family members.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home (14 E Main St, Fort Kent, ME 04743). A Mass was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Church (26 E Main St, Fort Kent, ME 04743).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Joel to Crosswinds at 40 Village Rd. or Fort Kent Golf Club, 354 St. John Rd. both in Fort Kent, ME 04743.
