Alan Wood Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Alan Wood of Franklin, Maine is shared. Alan, born on June 9, 1957, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Colby N. Wood and Kathleen Wood (Blackman); and his sister Nancy Larsen. He is survived by: his wife Betty of Franklin; his children, Cyndi (Kevin), Caleb of Ellsworth and Caitlin (Alex) of Yarmouth; and his siblings, Donna Clarke of Ellsworth, Donald "Buddy" Wood (Kristi Dunn) of Great Pond, Kathy Ashe (Yale) of Surry and Gail Fletcher of Ellsworth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Calvary Cemetery.
