He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Betsy Roper (Eckert); his children, Kevin Roper (Sarah Bakutis) and Jane Roper (Alastair Moock); his siblings, Susan Brastow and Jonathan Roper; his grandchildren, Clio, Elm, Deklan, Indigo and Saphire; and his parents, Charles Garland and Margaret Farquhar Roper.
