He is survived by: his wife Alice Carpenter (Collin); his children, George Robert Carpenter Jr. of Biddeford, Maine and Elena Cyr (Shawn) of Presque Isle, Maine; his sister Janet Martell (Carpenter) of Turnersville; his grandchildren, Andrea Carpenter, Alexandra Cyr and Nicholas Carpenter; his stepgranddaughter Kelsy Kilcollins (Jared); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Saylor and Mavis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
