He was predeceased by: his brother Jeffrey B Armstrong; his sister-in-law Nancy Armstrong; and his parents, Robert Weeks Armstrong Jr. and Suzanne Burr Armstrong. He is survived by: his friend Warren; his wife Lauren Stred; his children, Nick Armstrong and Danielle Armstrong Rice; his son-in-law Gregory Rice; his grandchildren, Graden Gregory Rice, Haddie Danielle Rice and Mako Mitchell Parker Rice; his siblings, Robert Armstrong III and Barbara Armstrong; and his brother-in-law Andrew Polluck. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

During the pandemic, Peter selflessly joined the Waldoboro Ambulance Service, dedicating his time and skills to helping his community in a time of great need.
