It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hershel A. Albert Jr. (Gardiner, Maine), who passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hershel A. Albert Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Albert Sr. and Eleanor Albert (McDonald); and his wife Pamela Jean Albert (York). He is survived by: his children, Jeff Albert (Rhonda) of Gardiner, Wendy Lounsbury (Robert) of Augusta and Cindy Austin (Travis) of South Gardiner; his sisters, Teddy Morin of North Whitefield, Camilla McKinney of Cape Elizabeth and Julia Perron of Topsham; his grandchildren, Andrea Chavonelle, Alexx Albert, Tyler Lounsbury, Jordanne Lounsbury, Trevor Austin and Cameron Austin; and his great grandchildren, Selah Knapp, Tanner Austin, Carter Austin and Josie Rollins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Old Veterans Cemetery (163 Mt Vernon Rd). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knights of Columbus (109 Spring St, Gardiner, ME 04345).
