Mary leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mary’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mary will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband James W. Moore Sr.; and her children, Mary Veilleux (Chuck), Kathleen Carr (Frank), Michelle VandenBosch, Denise Brann (Larry), Elaine Murray (Daniel), Samuel Moore (Kristen) and Stephen Moore (Kelli). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and 43 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (110 School St, Gardiner, ME 04345). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Maine Veterans' Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
