As Janice departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janice may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janice leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Hayden Timothy Alden. She is survived by: her children, Kelley Alden (John Martin) of Scarborough Maine and James Alden (Lynn Beal) of Franconia, NH.; her sister Cynthia DiBiase; and her grandchild Hayden Alden. She is also survived by her three nieces, ten grand nieces, nephews, cousins and her friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hobbs Funeral Home (230 Cottage Rd, South Portland, ME 04106).
In lieu of flowers, friends are invited to make a donation in Janice's name to the American Heart Association, American Heart Association.
