He was predeceased by: his parents, Alcide Begin and Marie Louise Begin (Gilbert); his siblings, Normand Begin (Pauline), Real Begin, Solange Laroche (Roger) and Helen Samson; and his siblings-in-law, George Gagnon and Geraldine Lachapelle.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Begin (Lachapelle); his son John Begin (Joy); his stepsons, Toby Fraser (Betty) and Randy Edwards (Rhonda); his grandchild Randi Edwards; his sister Maggie Gagnon; and his brothers-in-law, Ray Samson (Claudette), Louis Lachapelle and Lionel Lachapelle Jr.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
