He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Drapeau and Rosalie Savage Drapeau; his former wife Earlene E. Hall Drapeau; his sisters, Carol DeWalt and Vesta Cassidy; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Arnold and Lois Morrissey.
He is survived by: his wife Foxwoods; his daughter Laurie Carpenter; his grandchildren, Lindsey Carpenter, Austin Carpenter (Amanda), Bradley Beeckel, Hannah Barrows (Tyler), Megan Dunn, Rebekah Dunn and Ainsley Dunn; and his great grandchild Maybel Rae Barrows. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (41 Western Ave, Augusta, ME 04330). The military honors will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Cemetery.
