With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George E. Nelson (Hampden, Maine), born in Brownville, Maine, who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Nelson and Irene Nelson (Johnston); his grandparents, Mattie, August and Anastasia; his sister Dawn Burrell; his stepfather Frederick Levensalor; and his cousin Jan A. Nelson.
He is survived by : his wife Pauline Ross; his children, Larry Ross (Mary), Darrell Ross Jr. (Laurie), Brenda Ross (Keith Wright) and Shawn Ross (Sue); his brother Roland Davis (Nancy); his brother-in-law Gilbert Burrell; his cousins, Michael Nelson and Brenda Stoner; his nephew Jeremy Davis; and his nieces, Evelyn Burrell and Carolyn Kyle. He is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
