With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Anne Hicks (Hampden, Maine), born in Ellsworth, Maine, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Elliot P. Kerns and Wilda L. Kerns (Frost); her husband James; and her brother David. She is survived by : her son Shawn (Billie); her grandchild Chris (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Alexander, Michael (Michelle), Casandra and Scarlett; her siblings, Gary, Stephen, Cheryl and Debbie; and also, Sarah (Evan), Jon (Nyla), Evan and Morgan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
