He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander McGeechan and Jennie McGeechan (Hedwig Prechnik); and his siblings, John, Frank McGeechan, Jean Wagner and Eileen McGeechan.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Anne McGeechan (Campbell) of Hampden; his children, Elizabeth "Beth" Thieme (Scott) of Winterport, R. Joseph "Joe" McGeechan of Biddeford and John McGeechan of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Hannah Prescott (Brandon) of Winterport, Emma Thieme of Brooklyn, NY, Kyle McGeechan (Kali) of Orland and Brandon Knight of Oakland; his great grandchildren, Harry, Alfie, Hudson, Griffin and Camden; and his brother-in-law John Campbell of Jacksonville, FL..
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (217 York St, Bangor, ME 04401).
