He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dow and Lorraine Dow Simmons (Bagley) of Cherryfield; and his stepmother Delia Dow. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Crabtree; his children, Benjamin Dow (Kelsey) of Tremont, Gary Dow II of Hancock and Rachel Dow (Dean White) of Hancock; his grandchildren, Rylee, Carsen and Hazel Dow; his goddaughters, Sophia and Mercedes Kane; his stepfather Craig Simmons; his siblings, Leo Dow, Robin Dow (Clayton Smith) and Roxanne Knapp (Dave Frenette); his stepbrothers, Ray Young and Douglas Young; and his brother-in-law Douglas Crabtree (Sue). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
