Richard L. Norton Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 84, Richard L. Norton Sr. (Harrington, Maine) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Norton and Helen Norton (Robbins); his significant other RoseMarie Norton (Polk); his son Tony; and his brothers, James, Philip, Harold and Leslie.
He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Norton Jr. (Kelly) of Alabama, Gayle Norton (Andy Saunders) of Ellsworth and Sherri Kelley (Anthony Williams) of Florida; his grandson Richard Norton III (Jessica) of Addison; his children, Darcy Norton (Rick) of Lewiston, Austin Kelley of Florida and Whitney Saunders of Rhode Island; his great grandchildren, Cassidy Rose, Daemon, Zander and Trenity; his sister Nancy Grant French of Machias; his niece Dawn Grant Stubbs of Addison; and his pet Goldie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to The Ark Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 276, Cherryfield, ME 04622, in memory of Dickie.
