He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Brown (Anestis). He is survived by: his children, Lauren Brown Gagnon (Marc) of Amesbury, Massachusetts. and Stephen Walter Brown (Tricia) of Cherryfield, Maine; his grandchildren, Paige, Joshua Gagnon, Betsey (Mike Benner) and Reese (Gabriel Doughty); and his great grandchild Silas Stephen Brown-Benner. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
