As we bid adieu to Helen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert (Anna Neal) and Helen; and her husband Wernfried "Fred" Lissy. She is survived by: her sons, David Lissy (Annette) and Daniel Lissy (Sheri); her grandson Eric Lissy (Tasha); and her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Cameron. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gustafson Home (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Stephens Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
