It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances S. Heales (Houlton, Maine), who passed away on October 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frances S. Heales to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Cornish and Louisa Cornish (Purvis); her former life partner Dr. Donald McCaughan; her son Denis Colin McCaughan; her husband Peter Heales; and her grandson Matthew Phylis.

She is survived by : her children, Deirdre Eva McMahon (Tim) of Presque Isle, ME, Donald Eoin McCaughan (Vero) of Marseille, France and Fiona Cathleen McCaughan (Eric) of Stoughton, MA.; her stepdaughters, Beatrice and Laura Heales of England; her grandchildren, Timothy F. (Jennifer), Owen P. McMahon (Kristin), Jean Owen McCaughan and Lena Rose McCaughan; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Sean, Ella, Gavin and Graeme McMahon.
