It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Patrick Callnan of Houlton, Maine, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Callnan and Susan Callnan (Markey); and his siblings, Mary Tucker, Phyllis Anderson, Donald and Lawrence Callnan.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Saunders Callnan; his children, Gregory Callnan (Cynthia), Ann Callnan, Teresa Goguen (Carle) and Stephen Callnan; his brother Francis Callnan; his grandchildren, Patrick Goguen, Eric Dighton, Nichole Goguen and Brigette Huite; and his great grandchildren, Haidyn, Kamren, Garrett, Maya, Owen and Chase. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home (11 Park St, Houlton, ME 04730). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Catholic Church (110 Military St, Houlton, ME 04730).
