She is survived by: her husband Michael Leighton (Woody); her children, Katie Ceranic (Theron) of Bar Harbor and Kasey Leighton of Bar Harbor; her brother-in-law David Leighton (Patty) of Ellsworth; her aunt Helen Paul (Hamor); her cousins, Barbara Hamblen (Keene), Roger Keene (Buzzy), Laura Henderson (Paul) and Michael Keene (Pickle); and her friends, Elizabeth Robinson (Alley) and Beth Jewel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins and close friends.
